The U.S. president, Barack Obama, gave details of the death of the world's most wanted terrorist, Osama Bin Laden.
In an address from the White House, Obama said, after receiving credible intelligence information about where Bin Laden was in Pakistan last week gave the order to attack and today a "small group" led U.S. operation, in which, after an exchange of fire took the terrorist's body.
U.S. President said that Bin Laden was located in the town of Abottabad, in northern Pakistan. Earlier, CNN had quoted government sources to say he was in a mansion on the outskirts of Islamabad.
